Important points to note for landlords
Once we've finished the checks, if the property has passed the inspection, we'll hand you a certificate so you can demonstrate your compliance to regulators. It is important that you make this certificate immediately available to any new tenants or make it available within 28 days to any existing tenants. Additionally, you must also maintain the record for at least 2 years after the inspection date.
If the property fails the inspection, we'll advise you on the next steps and provide a free estimate based on any remedial work that needs to be carried.
